A seasoned engineering and infrastructure executive with over three decades of experience in renewable power generation, energy management, and project development. As Director at Global Impact Holdings (Botswana) and Managing and Projects Director of the Impact Group of Companies, Greg drives the execution of large-scale alternative energy solutions across Southern Africa. His leadership blends deep technical expertise with commercial strategy, ensuring the successful delivery of sustainable energy projects that meet both community and corporate needs.
CHRIS HART, Director (Botswana)
As the founder and Director of Global Impact Holdings (Botswana), Chris also serves as the Executive Chairman of its associated and subsidiary group companies, the Impact Investment Group. He leads the strategic vision and execution of innovative solutions tailored for sophisticated impact investors.
His focus is to develop scalable, investment opportunities designed to attract institutional and private funders, maintaining both commercially viable, and meaningful socio-economic returns. Chris’s leadership plays a critical role in bridging the gap between DFI capital and the funding needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. By creating unique, investable structures aligned with inclusive economic growth, he ensures that impact investments translate into sustainable development outcomes across emerging markets.
KGANTSO MOTSWASELE , Director (Botswana)
Mr. K is one of the Directors of Global Impact Holdings and a dynamic, respected leader in Botswana’s agricultural and business sectors. With a background that began in the Botswana Defense Force, he transitioned into agribusiness with a strong emphasis on animal husbandry, maize and sorghum cultivation. Driven by a commitment to national food security, he has been a leading advocate of the “Buy Batswana” movement, empowering local communities to support and grow domestic agricultural production. Throughout his career, Mr. K has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to development through education, training and mentorship. He has trained numerous entrepreneurs and farmers – particularly in the poultry industry – and frequently serves as a judge at agricultural shows. As a politically active business figure, he plays a key role in fostering cooperation between the private sector and political stakeholders to drive sustainable economic progress .In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. K is widely recognised for his philanthropic contributions, consistently supporting families and communities through socially impactful business initiatives
